Drop in to any class:
10:30am-12pm Forrest Yoga with Rebecca
Forrest Yoga is renowned as an intensely physical and internally focused practice that emphasizes how to carry a transformative experience off the mat and into daily life. The practice challenges students to access their whole being and to use Forrest Yoga as a path to finding and then cleansing the emotional and mental blocks that dictate and limit their lives. Students cultivate an acute awareness of their own practice and life process, creating a unique and powerful opportunity for them to make practical life decisions based on their own experiences. Forrest Yoga does not require strength or flexibility; it only requires a willingness to learn how to feel authentically and respond honestly. The practice is founded on four pillars — Breath, Strength, Integrity and Spirit.
12:30-1:30 Hatha Yoga with Eva

Eva teaches Hatha yoga. Eva’s classes are eclectic and available for a wide range of people. The classes usually are slow-paced streching.  She likes to look at classes as community healing circles where participants have the freedom to experience a deeper meaning. She creates a friendly environment that allows people to rest and take care of themselves. The challenges are to enjoy ourselves, avoid injuries and to stretch our muscles a little bit more than usual. Eva believes in the yoga practice as a complementary treatment, but also for the beauty of the discipline. She is exploring symbolic healing through asana.

2:00-3:00 Intro to Qi-gong with Ken and Rebecca
Qigong (chi kung) is the root of Tai Chi and Acupuncture and referred to by some as Chinese Yoga. These practices are designed to help you feel internal and external Qi (vital life force enery) while increasing circulation throughout your body, have greater focus, and build strength, all the while relaxing your body and mind. The focus of Qigong in general is on building a reservoir of Qi (also known as prana) in your core and being more aware of balance, breath and alignment, which will ultimately cross over into your Yoga practice and other activities as well.
4:00-5:30 Kundalini and Art Making with Jiwan Kaur

Learn how to create a daily Art and Yoga practice with Jiwan Kaur! Using Hari Kirin’s book, Art and Yoga, as a teacher and guide, yogis will find creative exercises to deepen their experience of yoga, while artists will discover simple, yet profound yoga and meditation practices that will help their creative flow, focus, and intuition. There is no need to know how to draw, meditate, or do yoga. The exercises are designed to make the experience accessible and fun. Any experience you bring to the process will be helpful. If you teach yoga or art or if you work as a healer, you’ll find inspiration and practical ways to deepen your professional practice. Some supplies will be provided.”

6:00-7:00 Yogarot – a combination of Yoga and Tarot with Eva

This class is for tarot lovers that would like to experience the tarot through Hatha yoga asanas. Yoga tarot is a class that consist in four parts. First, we sit on our yoga mats and ask a question to the tarot cards (bring the major arcana from your own tarot card deck if you own one, if not we can share). Second, depending on the time and energies, we improvise a practice with asanas that relate to the arcana that have chosen you or we do a whole sequence of the major arcana. We focus our asana meditation on the answer provided by the card. Third, we finish the class with a deep relaxation. And fourth, you can either exit the room or stay longer to share about your personal journey and expand into what the card has brought to light. Every asana can be accommodated to all kinds of people and backgrounds. It is encouraged to take it easy, take care of yourself, listen to your own body, enjoy yourself, avoid injuries and stretch your muscles a little bit more than usual. You do not need to have a previous experience in tarot or yoga to enjoy this class.

No experience necessary, we”d love to see you there!
