Letting go …

…- Finding peace in myself…

I know that you have to start somewhere: Over the past couple of years, I’ve included meditation sessions in my  every day life routine. I tend towards stressing myself out over little things. When I come home after a long day, I can feel the pain in my back and neck . With the help of meditation I’m experiencing a couple of minutes of complete silence deep within me. I love how I’m able to completely let go of my stress, worries and negative thoughts. I discovered Yoga to relieve my physical tension and work on strengthening my body from the inside and out. I absolutely love how the mental endurance and physical stamina are tested through holding postures and deep extended breaths.

One thing I’ve learned so far in my YOGA practice is that you should never feel discouraged when you can’t do a certain posture. It is OK –  don’t force your body into something it can’t do at the moment. Find motivation out of  feelings like disappointment or discouragement.

Push yourself,breathe –  but never forget to pay attention to what your body is telling you…
